IMT2. NW Team 6 (Sheldon). 5 miles W of Unity, OR. Start 7/31. Full
Suppression. Cause: Unknown. 21,600 acres (+5,251). 15% containment. Timber.
Active fire behavior with uphill spread, wind-driven runs and crowning. The
fire has burned into the Monument Mountain Wilderness. Road, trail and area
closures in effect.
Continue direct and indirect line construction, secure containment
lines and burn out as conditions allow.
