OR-WWF-000750. WFZ, Eagle Cap
Wilderness, Long Ridge Area, 20 Miles East of La Grande. Full Suppression.
Cause: Lightning. ½ acre, Lined & Contained. Grass, Timber & Snags.
Rail OR-WWF-000582.
MT2. NW Team 6 (Sheldon). 5 miles W of Unity, OR. Start 7/31. Full
Suppression. Cause: Unknown. 29,097 acres (+0). 30% containment. Timber.
Moderate fire behavior with isolated torching and short range spotting. The
fire has burned into the Monument Rock Wilderness. Road, trail and area
closures in effect. Continued mopup, line construction and burn out as
conditions allow.
