Cause: Unknown. 15,540 acres (+2,035). 12% containment. Timber. Moderate fire behavior with backing, torching and creeping. Road, trail and area closures in effect. Continue direct and indirect line construction, secure containment lines and burn out as conditions allow. Transfer of command from IMT2 (Harrod) to IMT2 (Sheldon) planned on 8/16.
