Forest Road and Trail Closures Implemented on Blue Creek Fire

Pendleton:  Fire suppression efforts on the Blue Creek Fire have prompted forest officials to implement road and trail closures on the Walla Walla Ranger District for public and firefighter safety.
Forest road and trail closures are effective immediately and include:

  • Forest Road 6400 (Skyline Road) from the junction of Forest Road 4600 to the junction of Forest Road 6500.
  • Forest Road 6500 (Tiger Canyon Road) from the forest boundary to the junction of Forest Road 6400.
  • Forest Trail 3211 (Intake Trail) from the forest boundary to the junction of Forest Road 6400.

The Blue Creek Fire is burning ten miles east of Walla Walla, WA on state and private lands adjacent to the Umatilla National Forest boundary.
