Fire crews are currently evacuating campers out of Bull Prairie Lake Campground after the Wilson Prairie Fire burned south out of Porter Creek toward the popular recreation site.
The fire is currently 1 mile from Bull Prairie Lake Campground.
Low relative humidity this afternoon coupled with downslope winds spread the fire to the south toward the campground. The fire is burning on Oregon Department of Forestry protected lands and the Umatilla National Forest. A more detailed update on today's fire activity will be posted this evening.
